How to see God ? : How to see the King ? – The answer is simple: you could take an appointment to see the king. But, after few minutes you will have to vacate the palace. Again you can take the appointment if you struggle and you are lucky but, you will come out of the palace again with what you asked the king for, if what you had asked for is reasonable. This is exactly what we have been doing while we pray the ‘god’. We ask the ‘god’ for something and the ‘god’ grants it, if it is reasonable and suitable to us, just as in the above case. Here we not even seeing the ‘god’ because what we ask for is too mean to get from the ‘god’, so the ‘god’ gives it to you through his servant, the world. So, as long as you are begging for something from the ‘god’ he throws it at you...

What is meditation ? : Speaking in the plain words – mediation is just 100 % laziness. Nothing in 'you' is working in meditation. None of your - ‘body parts’ should work and the ‘mind’ too should stop functioning – then you are in ‘complete laziness’ or in ‘complete relaxation’ or in ‘deep meditation’. First of all one should know – why the people are moving? Why we are all changing from one position to the other? This is simply because – in a given position a person [any being] is not happy and hoping for ‘joy’ or ‘more joy’ people are moving from one position to the other but, unfortunately in the new position too we fail to find joy and we keep on moving to ‘new’ positions always. You might call this with myriad different names like - doing job, eating, playing or enjoying etc., but, deep down we are in want of [more] happiness behind all these doings....

What is reincarnation ? The science behind it ! : Initially the ‘self’ is all idiotic and dirty in nature. For it to gain maturity, to become sensitive – the ‘god’ makes it pass through lots of births – through different species, including plants, birds, animals and finally human beings. In each of these life forms, the soul gets certain maturity. For example, the birds can fly well, due to the ‘flying’ the birds will gain certain maturity – which the crawling beings will not get, for example the snake. Due to flying the ‘birds’ will utilize their wings [hands like] hence due this prolonged ‘winging’ throughout the life of the bird - certain part of its ‘being’ will get maturity or sensitivity. Here, it should be noted that – the physical and the unseen or the subtler ‘being’, the self or soul - are connected in the life forms. This is where the ‘physiognomy’ or body reading - comes into play. Due to constant...

Early marriages are good ! : It is a fact that the child marriage was a custom in the ancient Hindu society and in many other cultures too around the world. The famous Dharma Sastra compiled by the great sage Manu says – asta varshath bhaveth kanya, it implies that the girl child should be married at her age of eight [8]. To the peripheral look it might seem uncivilized and idiotic to the modern thinkers but, it is not without reason. In fact it is out of deeper and holistic understanding of the human body, psyche, spirit and the society. So, many things are interconnected in the custom of child marriage but, it is not mindless and baseless. The ancients had a different purpose for the life and lived accordingly and no doubt it was all spiritual. This is because they knew the life and world far better than the modern thinkers and scientists. The purpose of their life or life...

How Witchcraft works ?  : ‘Witchcraft’ – has been in practice in India for a long time and it has been mentioned in many Hindu books. The aim of this article is just to give ‘some’ proof on it - that it works and not to elaborate on the technicalities of it. Though many so called ‘rationalists’ argue against the ‘witchcraft’ that it doesn't work  and baseless – it is indeed a science according to the Hindu scriptures and the scientific argument in favor of the functioning of ‘witchcraft’ is as follows of course in the indirect route. There is an effect in the ‘modern science’ known as the ‘resonance’. This works like this. Suppose TWO violins are kept in a room and both of them are of the same make up. Now, if you are playing on one of them nothing will happen for some time – and when the strings of your ‘violin’ reach certain frequency – then the other ‘violin’ in the room that is sitting quite...

Is astrology scientific ? : The present generation has lost many scientific secrets and sciences of our ancients unfortunately. Though we might boast of the inventions of our age, it is an undeniable fact that – the Vedic people were more advanced and more mature than the present generation, in every angle. The ancient Hindus in fact had more advanced sciences and technologies against what we have now. But, unfortunately we have lost them all! Every branch of science and technology what we have now, was present in the Vedic times and lot more too especially the subtler sciences. Astrology is one such science that has been lost. The present so called scholars claim that there is no concrete evidence to consider astrology as a science. But, the mere fact that we are unable to find or see the evidence does not imply that there is no evidence at all. We are unable to see or simply...

What is happiness ? : Happiness is a state of the self. The Hinduism says – when the ego ceases to be or when the ego is deeply absorbed then the individual concerned will feel happy. Contrary to the common thinking, ‘happiness’ could never come from outside, from the objects of the world but, happiness could ONLY come from within. Even if the mind is not functioning – there might not be the feeling of happiness because the ‘ego’ is still there but, when the ‘ego’ ceases to be then only the self or the individual concerned feels or gets the feeling of ‘happiness’. The intensity of happiness depends on the extent of forgetting or losing or decrease of the ‘ego’. The so called ‘nirvana’ or ‘satori’ or ‘samadhi’ or ‘moksha’ ONLY will destroy the ‘ego’ completely so, naturally these only could bestow bramhanand, the endless joy. For example take a person observing...

Why do we fail to see the God ? : First of all – ‘God’ the ultimate [formless God] is not a physical thing that could be seen with the physical eyes. Secondly, a devotee can see his beloved deity, the ‘god’ in subtler form [ex; Ram, Krishna, Jesus, Buddha, Mahavir or Muhammud] with the subtler eyes – after prolonged and rigorous prayers in their chosen form but that is not visible to others though present around. The appearance of Ram, Krishna, Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha or Mahavir to their contemporary people is a different matter altogether, just they were extraordinary people amidst the ordinary human beings during their times, like a fully bloomed flower amongst the buds. But, if they are to be seen now [something extraordinary according to the rules of the universe - a dead person to come alive now], it requires something extraordinary from the side of...

What is the purpose of human life ? : What is the sole purpose of a bud ? Is there anything other than to bloom into a full flower ? The same is the case of life ! The purpose of life is just to ‘evolve’ into perfection. As the modern science has revealed that the life forms are evolving, single cellular beings are evolving into multi-cellular complex beings [through genetic mutation, natural selection, evolution]. This is a sagacious saga from microbes to the complex human beings. Hinduism says – all through these life forms the ‘soul’ is passing or the ‘soul’ is evolving by utilizing or inhabiting these various life forms, at every stage of evolution, i.e., in every form the ‘soul’ gains certain maturity, as each ‘life form’ is a step in the ladder of life. The Hindu scriptures claim that the ‘soul’ has to take 1, 86, 000 different life forms [ex: microbes, birds, animals etc.,] before taking or...

Why the World is full of problems ? : The world is full of problems because, there should be problems in the world ! This might seem shocking, but it is true – according to Hinduism. If the world is free of problems – Will there be maturity in the people?  Can anyone grow in any way? Finally, will anyone think at all of God and heaven? According to Charles Darwin, the “naturalist”, ‘life forms’ will evolve, according to the principle of ‘natural selection’. The ‘best’ creatures are selected by the ‘nature’ and are given a chance to lead their life and those creatures failing to ‘win’ the race will perish. This implies that the ‘problems’ are a means that give birth to higher forms of life. Out of problems, higher ‘creatures’ are born. If there are no problems in nature, if there is no ‘struggle for survival’ there is no scope for the birth of higher forms of life. This logic extended...
