Why to have morals ?: Everyone knows that we are not going to live here [world] forever but, in spite of knowing this, people do bad things leading immoral life and thereby are sinning and are suffering later !  The wonder is though the life is short we struggle as though we are going to live here forever ! Many go to the extremes of immorality just to complete this short life ! The ‘god’ sent us to this world to test our morality. The morally ‘good’ people are sent to the heaven and the immoral people are given the concerned punishment. Even in this very ‘world’ it is a common observation …

What is our destiny ?: A wave gliding on a ocean, where it is destined for ? Nowhere else but - to reach the shore. Thus we, all the beings are moving in the ocean of the world to reach the shore and our shore is nothing but, the unseen, the absolute or the religions call it as ‘god’, the naming is not important. From the ever changing world we are moving to the changeless abode, the god. Like a wave we too are falling and rising [ups and downs in life] and we too are maturing within but, of course the ups and downs everyone feels in life, the other one is not evident. But, the Darwinism has…

Work is Worship: How ?: First of all it is necessary to know the reason behind ‘worship’. True worship gives maturity to the person concerned or it gives depth to the individual or it makes the ‘soul’ to bloom and true workshop is not meant for fulfilling the desires on the first hand. Now, if a person is doing his ‘work’ with full dedication, then it gives the same level of maturity to the individual as that of praying before his/her chosen ‘deity’. For example, if a ‘shooter’ is aiming at his target then he is literally in ‘meditation’ according to the Hindu doctrines of the ‘yoga’. His mind is fully fixed or …

What is the meaning of life ?: Life is a voyage from the known to the unknown. Life is a search for the eternal truth, the changeless, the absolute. We are sailing in the world – to reach our home, the ‘god’.  We are travelling in the world [including our body] as in a vehicle [train] to somewhere, to reach the ‘god’. When we are tired of our travel, when we feel bored of this world, we will think of getting down, we think of rest - we think of something else than what we know, what we have – the absolute or the ‘god’. All the world is moving and as long as we are moving – we find no rest and joy [this is not a

What is the purpose of Religions ?: Even from the prehistoric times there have been religions, around the globe but of course many are preliminary and very few are advanced religions. The purpose of religions is twofold. ONE –uplifting those people leading a life without morals, transforming the people those are living like animals or making a man out of an animal – this is the BASIC purpose of any religion. I. e., the religion is an instrument using which a man can be made out of an animal. The ‘animal’ like brute is made to fit into the fabric of the ‘society’ by means of the religion. When

Why not to do bad things ?: There is a law in the ‘dynamics’ of classical Physics that governs the ‘action of forces’ and this is nothing but the THIRD law of Newton. It says - ‘for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction’.  The modern rockets shoot up based on this principle.  In Hinduism there is a generalized law of this – that applies to any ‘action’ in general and not just to the action of forces. This is known as ‘Karma Siddhant’ or the ‘doctrine of Karma’. It says – whatever ‘you’ do ‘you’ have to get back its results and it also adds that it is impossible to escape the results of your actions...

Why people often disagree ?: We often come across people debating or fighting on different issues and without any final verdict. Have you thought of the reason for this lack of compromise in spite of their sophisticated reasoning and logic? Even the highly intellectuals are not coming into compromise! Let aside the bad people, even the good people fail to come to compromise, unfortunately! For example the wife and husband, parents and children, boss and worker, close friends, etc., get into endless arguments without any outcome. Do you have answer for this ?...

Wise way of living: One should live in such a way that the profits out of the life are maximized, i.e., while you take leave from the life – you should go with the maximum profits, this is the way to live and lead the life. One should lead the life with a long term goal, to maximize the profits in the long term, i.e., at the end of life one should have the maximum profits.  But, most of the present people are trying to get the gains instantly hence are in debts in the long term, at the end of the life. Seeking the enjoyments right in front – they are not storing anything for the long term…

What is Sin ?: ‘Sin’ is an act of making someone or yourself to suffer at the time of committing ‘it’ or later on. In some of the ‘sins’ – we might not find anyone suffer out of it but, it is just due to our lack of insight. For example if ‘you’ do ‘smoke’ then right at the moment of smoking you feel the ‘kick’ out of smoking but, later on you might get some type of ’cancer’ and you will suffer [for more info read  - Why Smoking is a Sin ? on this site]. The same is the case with any type of ‘sin’. In many cases of ‘sin’ we don’t see someone suffering right in front but, someone will suffer later on or at…

Uses of visiting Temples: The temples are the source of divine energy. The construction of the temple, the gopuram  or gopur [temple tower], the god in the temple are all sources of energy. The gopuram or gopur - of the temple resembles the pyramids. Scientifically the pyramids have some strange and positive features. Whatever that comes under the pyramid will be energized, when a person goes inside a temple, the cosmic energy will enter into the person concerned and for this ‘kalash’ [bronze pot like structures] on the gopur - will help a lot, the cosmic energy will come down from the cosmos…
